With over 15 years of experience, Yael is a highly experienced therapist, clinical supervisor and public speaker. She runs her private practice in Brighton QLD (Brisbane Northside), and is invited to conduct workshops for professional hypnotherapists around Australia.
Yael comes from an academic background with a Masters degree in Social Work and has a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is a clinical supervisor, a certified NLP trainer and NLP master practitioner.

How is it done?
A therapy session is 90 minutes long. This is the duration best suited to the natural cycle of the brain, and enhances efficiency of therapy and integration of change. In these solution-oriented therapies, the therapist helps you to create a desired outcome for your change, by creating a detailed picture in your mind of yourself after you have made the change. Then, using various ways and techniques, the therapist will help you to become resourceful and resolve your issue so you can reach your outcome and become the way/person you want to be.

What makes Hypnotherapy and NLP work?
Many people today understand it's time to do something different to solve their problems in life: There's a saying that "if you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got". If you have an issue that after repeated efforts you haven't managed to solve yet, it's probably time to try something different, something that actually works. One of the most effective ways many people today use in order to achieve what they want rather than what they don't want in life is NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Hypnotherapy. It works on the unconscious level, the same level our problems and habits lie. Another factor that makes these approaches so highly effective comes from the way it was created. NLP isn't just a good idea someone happened to have, but rather it was created by observing professionals who achieve extraordinary results. It was created by observing what works extremely well, and modeling it to succeed for other people as well. One of the most capable and innovative models was the legendary Hypnotherapist Milton Erickson, who had one of the highest success rates ever seen in therapy.

Treat yourself like a president of the United States
These approaches are so well established as effective, that even Bill Clinton has used a personal NLP advisor extensively.

Change of automatic "buttons": Often in therapy we will take these triggers that start your problem pattern and now reconnect them to automatically experience something else that you will choose instead. (e.g. we will take: "As I hop in the car after work I start feeling ...mmm, it would be so nice to have my drink soon'", and instead connect you to a burst of energy to go to gym as you hop in the car/ to crave for reading a book together with a cup of tea, etc.)
When in trance, you will experience a pleasant relaxed state in your body and mind. This state enables reaching your subconscious mind, which controls your habits, automatic responses and emotions. Although it may feel similar, trance is different from sleeping and can be light or deep, according to your comfort, level of experience, problem etc.
Wonder how talking can solve many health issues and physical problems?
Think about chewing a lemon...often people will have a physical response to that thought by salivating as if the lemon was actually in their mouth. This is one of the principles used in hypnotherapy to assist people with many health and physical issues.
Will I be in control?
As opposed to a common belief (or fear) about hypnosis or stage hypnosis (which is not therapy!), in hypnoTHERAPY the client is always in control, even when in a deep trance state. Hypnotherapy is not about controlling you or taking the control from you, it's about helping you gain the control back, so you won't have a problem anymore. When practiced by an experienced respectful professional, the process is safe and quite often enjoyable as well.

$$$ How many sessions will I need?
Typically people need 3-6 sessions, although for some people one or two sessions is all they need in order to achieve the desired change. A few people take longer.

A session is 90 minutes long. The cost for the first session is $200. The cost for every following session is $150. Payment by EFTPOS is available.
